Women and non-binary people are significantly under-represented in the UK tech sector. As part of our commitment to improving diversity and inclusion in our workforce, we are taking positive action under the Equality Act 2010 (Section 159) to help address this imbalance by encouraging applications from these groups during our recruitment process.
This does not mean that only women or non-binary people can apply. The role is open to everyone, and all applicants are assessed on their skills, experience, and potential. Where candidates are equally qualified, we may take under-representation into account as a tie-breaker, in line with the law. Positive action does not mean automatic preference or exclusion of other groups — our goal is to ensure fair and inclusive access to opportunity.
We can only build trust in society through innovation if we trust our people to deliver solutions that deliver lasting change. Fujitsu is a place where everyone is trusted to transform, it’s a place where working your way is the right way and where doing the right thing is everything. It’s also where we achieve together in a leading business that delivers global reach and focuses on local impact.
